Description |
Spring driven time and strike movement. Employs L.F. Portebois winding mechanism patent Nos. 321,526 and 304,234, granted July 7, 1885 and August 26, 2884, respectively. Also contains a British patent number 3628. Pink marble mantle clock has beveled glass door over dial. Dial is also pink marble with brass applique numbers, some of which have fallen off and are missing. A brass back plate has decorative cutouts. On the case are brass appliques, a brass fleur de lis finial, and four brass feet. Two matching urns are also made of pink marble. Each has a brass pedastal and two brass handles in the shape of a woman's face. Urns are catalogued as 80.76.10A and 80.76.10B. |
