c. 1940 Gebruder Junghans pocket stopwatch Stopwatch engraved with hallmark (see images) on back of the case indicating it was used by the German Navy during World War Two, possibly as a torpedo timer. White, thirty-seconds enamel dial with subsidiary fifteen-minute, marked "Junghans" in script below center hand; marked "Made in Germany" at the bottom, below chapter ring. Gilt movement marked with the Junghans trademark ("J" and "unghans" enclosed in an eight-pointed star), "29a" indicating caliber of movement and serial number "47955". Watch is missing stem and crown. Nickel open faced case marked with Eagle & Swastika mark with an "M" underneath.
