Description |
mid 19th century Black Forest organ clock. Clock section only; it sits on an open wooden base which raises the clock to approximately 7' 6". Includes 82 pipes, plays eight tunes, and has a time and strike 8-day movement. It has a mechanism which allows the stops to be adjusted automatically depending \upon the tune being played. Has a pinned wood cylinder; plays 8 tunes. Has nine automata. Porcelain dial is surrounded by an oil painting, on tin, portraying an angelic female and male harpists. Pediment has a painting, on tin, of Europa on a bull with young boy, and young girl with a bouquet. Has 82 pipes and 9 automata. |
