Description |
late 19th century - Boulle Type Mantle Clock Four Seasons and four horses. Marquetry made with tortoise shell and brass. Brass angel on top. Other brass angels, horses and decorations throughout. Sun pattern with woman's face on pendulum. Spring wound and Brocot escapement. Strikes on coiled gong. Blue enamel cartouche. Case is Louis the 14th style possibly by Martinot. Movement by Vincenti. Front of case says "Balthazar - Paris" |
