Description |
Roxbury style mahagony tall case clock with string inlay. Bonnet and waist columns with brass stop fluting, brass capitals and bases. Brass finials on inlaided plinths. Arched side windows in bonnet, bracket feet. Painted iron moon dial, signed " Nath. Munroe, Concord ". Sweep seconds hand. Curved calendar opening between the winding arbors. Four seasons represented in corners with figures.. Eight-day brass movement, rack and snail strike, center seconds Case of clock has had extensive restoration. |
