Dial has "Natural Beer" in center of dial. Bottom of dial is written "Rheingold Breweries, Inc. New York, NY and Orange, N.J." |

Rheingold Beer Company in New York at the height of the beer's popularity, it advertised that its beer (35% of beer sales in New York) was "guzzles regularly by a loyal cadre of workingmen who would just as soon have eaten nails as drink another beer maker's suds." After closing down in the 1970s, the brand was revived in 2010 and reformulated for distribution across the US. It is currently only available in New York City and Cincinnati by may appear in wider markets soon. |
