Pocket watch. Open-face single thick case with high glass front and back, both rims of gilded metal, closing to a narrow flanged edge, and carved. White enamel dial with Roman numerals within a minute-circle that has Arabic numerals outisde of it. Gilt hour hand only, no seconds. L0018 Fusee, French verge movement, large flat steel balance, carved narrow bar bridge with ruby cap on balance arbor. Skeletonized plate elaborately pierced and carved. 32 mm. Winds right. Early 18th century C 1710 |
