1980 Modified Vergo's Escapement. This design, copied from Vergo's original 18th Century concept, has two escape wheels geared together with the right one turning counterclockwise. Dr. Beeler has made four escapement models which use two escape wheels geared together. Each model has a different pallet design. This particular model operates with the right escape wheel turning clockwise. |
