Description |
1820 Eli Terry Pillar and Scroll shelf clock 30-hour pillar and scroll, with visible escapement. Good label, "Patent" and within an oval, "Invented Made and Sold by Eli Terry, Plymouth Conn." Replaced, weights, reverse painted tablet. Painted wood dial with black Arabic numerals, seconds marked on outside chapter ring in 15 second increments outside of the ring. Sub-second dial under 12 with floral designs in the corners with orange and pink. 3 holes for winding, center of dial has small red cottage. Finials and pendulum bob inside case. |
