Description |
Time only brass movement has small platform escapement and turns a snail on the backside of the movement that allows woman's arms to fall at start of new hour. Green marble base has brass feet and appliques on front. Brass woman with copper arms in relief against blue enamel niche with brass vines. Twisted brass columns flank figure, and topped with three finials. Hours are indicated with her right hand, minutes with her left. Hours and minutes on enameled cartouches. |
