Notes |
George A. Jones manufactured fine regulators in New York City in the late 1860s. In 1871, he built a new factory in Bristol, Connecticut and manufactured shelf clocks, often selling them through his New York office. Jones was one of the first to manufacture clocks with cases made of walnut. Ansonia also offered some George A. Jones models which might explain the Ansonia movement.
