Description |
c. 1890 James William Worn wall regulator with name on dial. This regulator originally hung in the main waiting room of the Pennsylvania Railroad Station in Philadelphia. It runs on a Graham dead beat escapement with jewelled pallets. Maintaining power is also provided to keep the clock running while being wound. Heavy 1/4 inch plates are separated by pillars 3/4 inch in diameter. |
