Description |
30-hour time and strike wood movement. Weight driven. Label inside reads, "Improved Clocks, Made and Sold by Mitchel & Atkins, Bristol, Conn." Label printed by P. Canfield of Hartford, CT. Samuel Terry Movement Mahogany veneer Empire-style case has two 1/2 columns, one on each side. Carved with leaf design. Two pineapple finials at top of case. Carved splat depicts fruit bowl. Two feet in front are paw feet. Glass tablet is reverse painted and depicts an estate with trees and bordered by rose motif. |
