8-day cast brass weight-driven tall clock movement with rack and snail strike mechanism Dial-engraved David Rittenhouse at 101.106 The initial donation was 78.31.1, however it was determined that the clock was probably a marriage. The case was Victorianized at some point and has been assigned accession no. 78.31.2 and deaccessioned. The movement is possibly by John Wood Sr.and is Accession No. 78.31.1. The brass dial which is engraved David Rittenhouse was assigned no. 78.31.3 |
