Description |
c. late 19th century- Shelf Clock Clock swinging as a pendulum bob. Brass case is 4" in diameter and 2" deep. Dial is 2" in diameter with white enamel and Roman numerals encircled by minutes in 5 minute increments, anchor escapement. Rod upward from orifice in back then passing through slotted piece fixed to brass column that supports the clock. Swinging of clock rocks the anchor of the escapement. |
