Description |
C 1820 8-day short pendulum time-only iron plate movement. Ives' patented roller pinions. Rack and snail strike train. Wood-bushed collets for the roller pinions. Clock case built to be mounted upon desk and is held there by wooden pegs. Desk and case are mahagony. Carved half columns are twisted at top with pineapple design on bottom. Acanthus leaves capitals. Desk legs are also twisted. Glass door has looking glass on lower portion. Upper portion is reverse painted with an opening for the dial.
