Description |
17th century watch converted in the18th century to 3 arm brass balance with hairspring, balance cock with mask and steel end plate, verge escapement, four wheel time train. Strike train is missing but count wheel remains on top plate, round baluster pillars. Oval gilt case with finial at bottom, engraved silver side panels. Brass dial with silver chapter ring with Roman numerals and half hour marks, engraved center with town scene. Single blued steel hand. |
