Description |
c. 1882 Juvet and Company time globe Time only brass movement is spring driven. Round plate movement housed in papier mache globe. Winding is done with the feathered end of the arrow located at the South Pole. Porcelain dial for local time is mounted under beveled glass on top of nickel-plated meridian ring. Equatorial ring indicates world time. Cast brass stand with ball and claw feet, twisted legs, and griffins. Compass mounted in stem.
