Description |
C 1860 8-day time and 1/2 strike brass movement. Brocot escapement. Spring motivated. Back of sunburst pendulum reads, "GP." Back of dial plate has company insignia. Elaborate case is in Reverse Boulle style. Red stained tortoiseshell veneer over oak wood. Gilded brass decorations include four feet, decorative garland and scrolling, and a trumpeting angel on top. Dial is in brass relief with cutouts so that porcelain numbers show through. Glass panel in front of clock. Reverse Boulle |
