Description |
C 1909 8-day time and strike brass movement. Spring motivated with Brocot escapement. Rack and snail strike. Double jar mercury pendulum. Crystal Regulator Model No. 4 style with porcelain dial, base, and top. Beveled glass doors on all four sides. Porcelain may have been made in Bonn, Germany by Franz Mehlem. Lion's head over dial and one in back. One finial at top center. Porcelain dial reads, "Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York, United States of America." Brocot escapement visible on dial.
