Electrically wound weight-driven remontoir. Riefler's patent escapement with three jeweled pallets and rewound at frequent intervals by a solenoid mounted to the side. Astro dial reads, "S. Riefler / DRPN: 50739 / No. 240 / Munchen / DRP No. 100870 / 1908." 24-hour dial. Crescent aperture in dial for viewing the remontoir. Barometer is mounted on the invar pendulum to adjust the pendulum's length to compensate for changes in atmostpheric pressure changes.
Case is heavy metal with wooden top and bottom, four slendar four slender columnar posts, glazed arched front door and side panels.
