Brass Brass fluted quarter columns on front and rear door. Brass dial, with silvered chapter rings . Subsidiary dials for Strike/silent and 0 thru 48 to regulate pendulum length. Spandrels of a flower and leaf design Date opening above the VI. Silvered name plate between the two subsidiary dials, John Fladgate, London. Brass band around bottom of case, brass feet. Time and strike brass fuzee movement. Label on rear door indicates fuzee was converted to chain drive in 1929. Back plate extensively engraved with a floral and leaf design. No name engraved on back plate. Tie down for the pendulum. Bob is engraved with a sunburst design. Brackets holding movement ot back of case engraved with a linear design. Has pull repeat.
