Description Four column O.G. Gothic with four turned finials. 8 day brass movement designed by Anson L. Atwood for Brewster & Ingrahams, 12 hour count wheel, springs replaced with steel, front plate stamped Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Ct. U. S. ( see KDR, Contributions of Joseph Ives, pp. 293-295). The strike is advanced by pulling the stike hammer to the left. Label reads Patent Spring Eight Day Brass Clocks, Made and Sold by Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn. Steam Job Power Press of Elihu Geer, 10 State Street, Hartford. Painted unmarked zinc dial.
