The Yale Clock Company trade catalog for 1882 describes this model as having a fine nickel case, a 1-day, time only improved pendulum movement, and being "the cheapest, the smallest, and the best clock in the market..." The sold for $15.00 per dozen. The Yale Clock Company was purchased by Phelps & Bartholomew in 1887.
